The Granary, Devon Yurt 

The Granary is a stunning loft area with a double bedroom, it is the top floor of  a large stone barn set in a farmyard setting.  Access is via a flight of outdoor stairs with a handrail.  The Granary has a stable door. The Granary is suited to guests with a small baby as the accommodation is on one level.

Julia, the owner at Borough Farm, where The Granary is located, has won numerous awards for both the quality of the retreat it offers and for its sustainability, qualifying for the top level GOLD green tourism award in 2020 Devon Yurt  which is also on site and has just two luxury yurts, has won awards for the best glamping site in Devon.

• The Granary offers a tranquil destination where guests can truly immerse themselves in nature, be it wildlife, big skies, stunning views or rare breed farm animals which guests can get to know.
• Guests staying at The Granary have sole use of both The Granary bed room and the adjoining Loft a large space for dining, relaxing, working or even practicing some yoga.
• From the bedroom window at The Granary you can watch the sunrise over Dartmoor national Park providing the most dramatic of scenes. At night, lie in your antique french bed and watch the stars through the apex window.  From the dining table observe the horses in their stables, the doves flying over the horses heads and the chickens wondering by.
• During your stay you can opt to delivered in breakfast packs, bbq packs, pizza nights and first night meals which is Provided by local, top quality, food producers 

• Kitchen: The Granary has a fridge, plus kettle and toaster. All crockery and cutlery is provided. Further cooking facilities are provided by means of a bbq which can be used in your own private garden area in the orchard. There is also a fire pit to warm you should you choose to dine outside.
• Sleeping arrangements: The Granary sleeps two adults. and will also accommodate an infant
• Parking: Parking for the Granary is in the farm yard just a few meters from the Granary steps.
• Groups: Groups taking all three units, the Granary plus the two yurts,  have sole use of the whole site.
• Additional Info: There is a barrel sauna which can be hired by guests for sole use during their stay. During early March and from October onwards The Granary has the option of sole use of a private log fired hot tub.
• Bookings: Our bookings are from Friday to Monday or Monday to Friday and from Friday to Friday during peak weeks.
