Brogh Yurt with Wild Swimming Lake

Alan and Julie look forward to welcoming you to Woonsmith Farm to enjoy the peace and quiet of the rural surroundings. Brogh is one of two yurts situated within a designated area of outstanding natural beauty. The yurt offers charming ensuite accommodation and the opportunity to explore the fields and meadows or enjoy wild swimming in our sheltered, private lake, just a couple of minutes walk away and reserved for the sole use of the guests staying on the farm - max. 6 adults.

The spacious black and white yurt, named Brogh (Cornish for badger), has a comfortable king bed, kitchenette, en suite bathroom, wood stove and relaxed seating both inside and out. The yurt has a diameter of 18ft.

The kitchenette has two electric hobs, a fridge and a selection of cookware and tableware for dining. You can eat at the wooden table just beside the kitchenette, or enjoy the fresh air at the outside table on the yurt's private deck.

Inside, a wood stove will keep you cosy and warm, with an adjacent leather sofa to enjoy the crackling fire. Or lie in bed and gaze through the crown of the yurt at the stars - we're in West Penwith Dark Skies Park due to the low light pollution here.

The en suite bathroom includes toilet, handbasin and shower and is conveniently accessed from within the yurt - no need to walk outside.

Twinkling fairy lights in the yurt can be dimmed for a romantic night in or you can enjoy the evening air beside the firepit under the stars.
