Introduction
Wheely Wonderful Cycling has been providing UK cycling holidays for nearly 30 years. The award winning cycling holidays are fully supported with excellent accommodation, luggage transported, detailed route guides and a full back up service. Try the Cycling and Canoeing holiday. This is an action packed holiday. Combine a two day cycling holiday with a wonderful canoe trip down the River Wye on the third day.
Arrive at the set base near Ludlow, you will be kitted out with bikes and equipment
Cycle through the black and White villages of Herefordshire to stay at Weobley, a perfect medieval village.
Stay overnight in B&B with breakfast provided. Choose a village pub or restaurant for evening meal.
Next day cycle back to the base via National Trust’s Croft Castle. Return with your car to your accommodation for another night’s B&B
Short drive to the River Wye, to canoe base. You will be kitted out with Canadian Canoes and given instruction. Then paddle downstream to Hay on Wye for lunch and onward to The Boat Inn, where you will be collected and taken back to the canoe base.

Facilities and additional information
Equipment needed: Wheely wonderful provide Bikes, equipment, maps and route notes, luggage transfers and full back up, and of course Canadian canoes and equipment.
You need to bring suitable clothing for cycling (including cycle helmet) and caneoing
Weather: Very occasionally, rivers levels rise – so canoeing cannot take place – in this case Wheely Wonderful will provide either an extra day’s cycling or refund the canoe fee.
Parking: At cycling holiday base
Food and Drink: Cycle route notes give details of teashops, pubs and village shops
Toilets: Available at the cycling base, and at village amenities on route.
