Introduction
At Willowgate the main aim of the game is to have fun! Choose from a variety of activities from open water swimming to combat archery, birthday parties to Hen Do’s. Whilst here you will learn new skills and possibly even make new friends! And best of all, being outdoors is not only great for your physical wellbeing but fantastic for your mental health too!
Whether you have been in a kayak or sup before, or you are a complete beginner, these taster experiences are great why to learn a new skill or improve on one.
Both activities are an hour and three quarters, first 15 minutes for kitting up
Leaving an hour and half on the water with one of our qualified instructors, who will show you the basics and even teach you a trick or two!

Facilities and additional information
Equipment needed: We supply wetsuits and buoyancy aids for all instructed water activities, you will need to bring shoes suitable for the water, old trainers are fine, a towel, swimwear, and appropriate clothing for the day.
Weather: Being a Scottish outdoor activity centre, we rarely cancel due to weather as we are a hardy bunch! However, if it is extremely windy, this can make it particularly difficult, especially for river trips. We will monitor the weather the day before and, on the day, and make that call. If we have to cancel any activities, we will re-book or offer a gift certificate or full refund. However, if you cancel then we will offer a gift certificate or rebook, unless we have been given less than 24 hours’ notice and then no refund or alternative will be offered.
Parking: There is a car park at the centre.
Food & Drink: Willowgate Café is 10 minute walk from the centre, serving drinks, snacks and meals.
