Hillwalking/ Navigation days

With the picturesque scenery that Derbyshire and The Peak District have to offer, from plane wrecks on Bleaklow to historic stone circles, this full day course will give you chance to see a lot. Meeting in one of the villages will give you a chance to stock up on supplies before setting off. Learn invaluable skills safely so you can independently explore with confidence. 

All our instructors have a wealth of knowledge about the location and experience all over the UK, with stories to accompany them.

Equipment needed: Warm clothing suitable for the time of year, layers are good. Waterproof jacket and trousers, and footwear appropriate for hilly terrain and boggy ground. 

Weather: Weather appropriate clothing. Activities will generally take place regardless of weather unless there are exceptional circumstances. 

Parking: Money for cark parking fees will be needed.

Food and drink: Bring packed lunch and water.
