Join us on our guided hike to tick off the Cairngorms 4000s, we plan to tackle this classic journey over two days. Standing on summits over 4,000 feet, you will have some of the best and most memorable views in the British Isles, truly breathtaking. With our local experienced guide, you will also learn about the surrounding area, inc it's unique flora and fauna.

What do I need to bring?

  • Quality, breathable waterproof jacket and trousers. We recommend Gore-tex or similar

  • A pair of comfortable, waterproof walking boots

  • Walking trousers (synthetic materials; jeans or similar are not suitable)

  • Spare insulating layer

  • Hat & gloves

  • Walking socks

  • Sleeping bag, 3 season

  • Spare set of clothes x 2

  • Some large zip-lock bags to keep your clothes and equipment organised 

  • Spare set of light clothes

  • Head torch, plus spare batteries

  • Water bottle or flask

  • Rucksack 50-60ltr

  • Walking poles

  • Waterproof or zip lock bag for camera/phone

  • Sunglasses and sun cream (you just never know!)

  • Personal medications
