Half Day Sea Kayaking Trip

With no previous experience required, these trips are ideal for families, individuals or groups.
We spend around 2 hours on the water and personalise the trip for you; some of the options that we can include are kayak surfing, rock hopping, wildlife watching, marshmallow roasting, swimming in inaccessible coves, cooking mussels, making hot chocolate with a Kelly Kettle and mackerel fishing. The possibilities are endless!
Or why not have a pint sized adventure – we paddle out to the Floating Cafe and enjoy a relaxing drink before returning to Exmouth on the water taxi.
We usually operate around the Exe Estuary but other options include a paddle from Budleigh Salterton to Ladram Bay and back.

Equipment needed: A towel, warm jumper and change of clothes Footwear that can get wet, such as old trainers or sandals. Food and drink for the duration of the journey. Sun cream, sunglasses and a hat are a good idea! You can bring a wetsuit but most people find it is more comfortable to paddle in clothes and one of our cags. If you want to go for a swim in the sea, bring some swimwear. Sea kayaks have lots of dry space so bring whatever makes you more comfortable, there is an area to store valuables at the centre. We have dry bags which you can use to bring items such as mobile phones with you

Weather: In really poor weather, our coaches will make the call on whether to cancel and if so, we provide full refunds or rescheduling for another date. If you need to cancel over 8 weeks before the start of the course we will refund 75% of the full trip/course fee, over 4 weeks 50% of the fee, less than 4 weeks 0% refundable.
