Introduction

The Ocean Conservation Trust is a charity who know that to protect nature, you have to start with people. That’s why they create and curate meaningful ocean experiences for everyone to connect with the ocean; learning more about it, and how to protect it.

Ocean Snorkel Safaris take place weekly in Plymouth Sound National Marine Park from Mount Batten Beach.

These sessions are aimed at those wanting to take the first steps into snorkelling and explore the waves of the UK. The OCT's Ocean Discovery Rangers are fully-qualified BSAC Snorkel Instructors and will be on hand each step of the way to guide your session.

Over ninety minutes, learn how to use snorkel equipment, cover basic snorkel techniques and explore everything that the ocean has to offer.

Next, you’ll kit up in your snorkelling gear; you’re welcome to bring your own or you can borrow some at no extra cost.

Then, there will be some safety information before heading into the ocean.
