Introduction

Join Natural Survivor on their tailored experience, combining natural harmony with physical challenge in a woodland environment. This course will teach you some essential survival techniques, allowing you to merge with nature while enduring some potentially tough physical exercise and challenges.

Over the course of 2 days, you will receive expert tuition in survival and wilderness living skills and physical education, to then end the day sleeping under the stars. Having a maximum of 20 students and 2 instructors, you will really experience the benefits of personal attention provided by the instructors. 

All food and drink is catered for (non-alcoholic) starting with lunch on Saturday through to Sunday morning (3 meals). 

During this course you will learn/do:

  • Survival Shelter construction (you will sleep in these)
  • Rule of 3’s and location selection
  • Fish Prep (gutting and filleting) – this will be your lunch Saturday
  • BBQ – Evening meal Saturday
  • Bacon & Eggs – Sunday breakfast
  • Natural Navigation
  • Open fire Cooking
  • Physical exercise (Military Style)
  • Individual challenges

Facilities and additional information

Equipment needed: All required equipment will be supplied by us. All of the clothing and equipment that you bring must be appropriate for the activity, environment and time of year. Please bring:

  • Antibacterial Hand Sanitiser
  • Individual first aid kit
  • knife Fork Spoon Plate/Bowl Cup
  • Warm clothing
  • Sleeping bag
  • Head torch with fresh batteries and a spare set
  • Spare clothing
  • Waterproofs
  • Sleeping mat
  • Wash kit
  • Insect repellant spray
  • Medication if required

Weather: The experience runs in all weather. High winds may stop the trip due to risk or branches or trees falling.

Parking: Onsite parking available.

Food & Drink: Food and drink provided on the course.

Toilets: Compost toilets onsite.
