Introduction
This unique split experience is perfect for beginners and nature enthusiasts, ensuring you and your friends or family have the best of both. Allowing you to coasteer, snorkel, and try (SUP) stand up paddleboarding.
It’s just you, the rocks and the sea! And the team will throw in a giant paddleboard for fun!
During your coasteer you’ll be taught how to make your way along Newquay’s cliffs and coastline by means of climbing, jumping, traversing, swimming and diving. You’ll spot incredible marine life, negotiate natural rapids, sluices and whirlpools before attempting adrenalin-fuelled sea cliff jumps.
Once your expert instructor welcomes you to the centre, you’ll be issued your helmet, buoyancy aid, and top-of-the-range wetsuit. Grab one of our paddles and you’re set - they'll do the rest.
A varied and ultra-interesting activity, you'll be taught to navigate your way around the beautiful craggy coastline on the team's Super Stand Up Paddle Board. This adventure will certainly quench your inner viking’s thirst!
After launching the craft, you’ll learn how to kneel and then stand up paddle, successfully touring around the fringe of the coastline. You'll also identify fascinating marine life, negotiate swell & waves and then learn how to execute a landing.
Stage two of your Super Stand Up Paddle Boarding Newquay adventure will see you mooring up, and pitting your wits against one another in a series of hilariously funny SUP games (King of the SUP, Sumo SUP, and SUP racing).
And if that’s not enough action, exercise and laughter, there’s even more to Stand Up Paddle Boarding in Newquay… once you’ve got your breath back, you’ll then be invited to disembark the craft and join one of our unforgettable Coasteers. This is the ultimate way to enjoy the Cornish coastline!

- Comprehensive instruction on correct techniques for both paddling and coasteering skills will be given.
- Learn marine and coastal wildlife information along the route, along with facts on coastal heritage.

Facilities and additional information
Group sizes: Newquay Activity Centre offers a variety of private group sizes from individual bookings, up to approx 24 people. Regardless of size, it's priced at £65pp.
Equipment needed: All equipment will be provided. Heated changing rooms and secure storage of your valuables will be available.
Weather: If conditions are deemed too challenging, optional activities will be offered.
