Introduction

As you wish!

Here is a unique opportunity to visit some of the most iconic locations used in the classic 1987 movie, The Princess Bride, found in the Peak District. Re-enact the famous hill rolling scene where it was originally filmed and enjoy the historic and charming Castleton streets, below the Shivering Mountain, Mam Tor and home of Peveril Castle. Discover the epic landscape of Carl Wark iron age fort, Higger Tor and Robin Hood's stride, all used in these famed scenes from the film. Visit Prince Humperdink's castle, the magnificent medieval manor house, Haddon Hall. We will allso see where Buttercup's farm was filmed and enjoy the stunning Peak District national park views on the way! Some locations require steep, rocky and uneven short walks, but the tour can be enjoyed whilst avoiding strenuous walking if preferred.

Please note that admission to Haddon Hall is not included and is payable locally.

We would suggest a pick up time of 10am and would expect to return at around 5pm.
