Next, tour the Dalwhinnie distillery. Nestled in the Cairngorms, see the stunning mountain scenery while sampling the gentle floral notes, heather honey, and vanilla of the single malt whisky.

Learn how traditional Highlanders used to live
Onto Newtonmore, through the Highlands, to the museum and learn about the conditions of early Highland people. Live actors and restored buildings help bring it to life.

Your next stop is an interesting bronze age cemetery near Inverness, Clava cairns standing stones. A fascinating example of Scotland’s distant history.

Culloden Battlefield
This is the site of the last pitched battle on British soil. Use the interactive learning, look at the artefacts and immerse yourself in a surround sound cinema. 

Then it’s time to return home.
Brought safely back to the doorstep, unwind with your snacks, share your highlights with your fellow travellers or simply reflect.

Equipment needed: Appropriate clothing for the weather on the day. Waterproofs for forecasted rain and appropriate footwear for walking on hilly terrain. Cab and tour guide provided.

Food and drink: Please bring own snacks and drinks should you have dietary requirements and warn any cafes and restaurants of these on the tour. Local Scottish snacks will be provided as well as drinks (6x Irn Bru and 6x Water)
