Introduction
On this family-friendly Wild Seaside Adventure, join Devon Wildlife Tours as you visit an award-winning, red sand beach at the heart of the English Riviera. This is your chance to encounter and learn all about the exciting coastal marine life of the UK through a jam-packed itinerary of rockpooling, birdwatching and, if lucky, potentially even Dolphin spotting.
Devon Wildlife Tours has over two decades of experience exploring this magical part of the UK and discovering its wildlife secrets. Run and owned by passionate local Ecologists, they love to share knowledge & skills in the hope of infecting others with their enthusiasm. In a world so disconnected from nature, they aspire to help people rediscover the natural world and promote the importance of its conservation.

Facilities and additional information
Equipment needed: Please ensure that you have comfortable clothing suited to the forecasted weather and sturdy footwear. The rock pools can be slippery and so you may wish to bring a walking pole for added stability. Although not essential, if you own binoculars, bring them with you or please try to borrow some as you will limit your experience without them. Cameras and photography are welcome but not at the detriment of welfare and so you will be expected to strictly follow the guidance of your guide. Clothing for swimming or snorkeling is optional.
Weather: Bad weather (heavy rain, strong wind) can have significant impacts on the behaviour of wildlife and the enjoyment of looking for it. Should we need to cancel due to bad weather, we will aim to notify you 24hrs in advance.
Parking: Parking will be discussed with you once your booking is confirmed but all will be within easy access of the experiences starting point.
Food and drink: No food or drink is provided as part of this experience. Local facilities are available nearby should they be required.
Toilets: Available on site.
Additional info: Whilst every effort will be made, we cannot and do not guarantee sightings of any wildlife mentioned which are understandably subject to forces outside of our control. Although we will endeavour to ensure you enjoy your experience no matter what, if you feel any aspects of this experience, including certain species, are vital to the enjoyment or success of your experience, please inform us at the time of booking so we can advise you and avoid disappointment.
