  • A pair comfortable, waterproof walking boots

  • Waterproof coat

  • Plenty of layers to keep you warm
  • Head torch and extra batteries
  • Hiking sticks if you would like to bring some along
  • Walking socks

  • Walking trousers

  • Water bottle or hydration bladder of between 1-2 litres of water depending on the weather
  • Food / packed lunch and some snacks
  • Hiking rucksack
