The Cairngorm Reindeer Herd is Britain’s only free-ranging herd of reindeer found in the Cairngorm mountains in Scotland. These tame and friendly animals are a joy to all who come and see them. Reindeer are not just for Christmas! Visit a small group of reindeer in our Paddocks, and learn all about them in the exhibition. The Paddocks are self-guided and are wheelchair/pushchair accessible. Please note there is no direct contact with the reindeer, but plenty of opportunity to take photos. Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your booked slot and come into the shop to collect your tickets. Your time slot is for the entire experience, so If you are late, then you will only have the remainder of your booked slot to look around. Face coverings must be worn in indoor areas and when in close proximity to other households.

Equipment needed: Areas of the Paddocks are outdoors so please dress appropriately for the weather.
