Introduction
Craig has a lifelong passion for the coast, its inhabitants and conservation, and has offered his coastal foraging courses since October 2017. Craig also frequently appears on television as well as running his own YouTube Channel, which has almost 100,000 subscribers.

Why this experience is great for you
- You will learn to identify edible mollusc, seaweeds, crustaceans , fish etc.
- You will learn the way the tides work and their effect on the marine environment.
- You will learn how to identify the type of environment certain seafoods can be found in. This can be particularly useful when you visit a shoreline you are not familiar with!
- You will learn about water quality classification and how to eat shellfish safely.
- You will learn how to cook and then eat the delicious seafood you have foraged.

Facilities and additional information
Location: Experience can be held in 120 miles of coastline from Pembrey in Carmarthenshire to St Davids in Pembrokeshire and all points in between. the typical location for this experience is within a 10-15 minute drive of Tenby/ Saundersfoot.
Equipment needed: You will need to dress for the weather of the day. You will need to wear waterproof footwear – wellies etc are fine. as the trip will take 6-8 hours Craig strongly recommends that you bring along a snack and a drink.
Weather: Unless the weather is dangerous, the course will go ahead regardless. If the session is cancelled due to weather, you will be able to rebook or receive a full refund immediately.
Parking: The meeting point will be in a designated parking place, followed by a drive to the location(s), where private parking has been arranged as part of the experience.
Food and Drink: it is recommended that you bring your own food and drink. Most meeting places will have a nearby shop to purchase this.
Toilets: There are public conveniences near the meeting places, however you will then be out in the wilderness with no access to public conveniences after this. Alternatively, there will be many private opportunities to use your discretion in the open air!
