Canvey Wick is a 93.2 hectare Site of Special Scientific Interest on Canvey Island in Essex. Rich in plants, insects and animals, there are as many species per square metre here as there are in a rainforest. As such, it's one of the most important British sites for endangered invertebrates. The RSPB manage 18.5ha of the SSSI as a nature reserve in partnership with Buglife and on behalf of the Land Trust.

- Opening times:
Nature reserve: open at all times
Car Park: open daily from 9am to 9pm or dusk if earlier. Closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day
- Accessibility: Assistant dogs allowed, Nearest accessible toilets are offsite and not RSPB owned
- Equipment needed: Weather appropriate clothing
- Toilets: No toilets on site. Nearest toilet facilities are at Morrisons supermarket at the end of Northwick Road on Canvey Island
- Parking : Height restriction of 2.1 m
