Blackwater 6

Between towering Douglas fir trees and Redwoods as old as the Reign of Queen Victoria, is the tall trees trail.

These giant sequoias are able to grown to the biggest living thing on Earth, and the Douglas fir's are protected by a natural armour to damage, making them valuable timber trees.

  • Access: Dawn to dusk daily, easy access and sensory trail
  • Equipment needed: to make sure you enjoy your visit, wear comfortable shoes suitable for all terrains, and weather-appropriate clothing.
  • Dogs and are welcome
  • Toilets
  • Parking: There isn’t a charge to park at this site, we welcome a donation of £3 per visit. Please park only in designated car parks, not on a verge or in gateways. Please lock your car, taking any valuables with you and leave by dusk.
